Baki is so grounded in the real world that Oliva surviving a shotgun blast or Retsu running on water has so much more weight behind it. Even Yujiro being the strongest is still really mortal and there are characters that surpass in him certain aspects. Baki is just a weird and funny anime with hype moments.
